AGING AND DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER (ADRC) SPECIALIST, Sequim office. 1 position available. Full-time, 40 hrs./wk. Non-Exempt. $29.54/hr. starting wage if hired at Step 1. Maximum pay at end of range Step 12 is $38.75/hr. Full benefits package and WA PERS retirement plan. The ADRC Specialist Provides accurate and relevant information to individuals seeking resources including older adults, family caregivers, adults with disabilities and Medicaid/WA Cares beneficiaries. Conducts program and service eligibility screening and needs assessments. Delivers services and options counseling under targeted community-based programs, including: Care Transitions, Health Related Social Needs (HRSN), Medicaid access, and WA Cares. The ADRC Specialist provides individualized and comprehensive short-term case management services. Operates with a significant level of independence, requiring minimal supervision. Requires exemplary customer service skills. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral, health sciences, or related field with two years’ experience providing direct human services; or MA in behavioral, health sciences or related field with one year experience providing direct human service; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CONTRACT SPECIALIST, Aberdeen or Sequim office. 1 position available. Full-time, 40 hrs./wk. Non-Exempt. $32.26/hr. starting wage if hired at Step 1. Maximum pay at end of range Step 12 is $42.33/hr. Full benefits package and WA PERS retirement plan. The Contract Specialist is responsible for the development of contracted services necessary to meet O3A’s state and federal contract obligations. Ensures that internal contracting policies and procedures comply with fund source requirements. Conducts public procurement processes. Negotiates contract terms and develops statements of work. Monitors contractor operational performance. Provides technical support to staff, contractors and community partners that is constructive and collaborative. Works within a team framework to meet goals for contracts management. Serves as designated lead for specific programs, funded through Medicaid, Older Americans Act, WA Cares Fund, and other fund sources. Programs may include Home Care, Nutrition, Community Options Program Entry Systems (COPES) Ancillary services, and/or other programs. Occasional travel is required. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in liberal arts or social/health sciences and minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative planning position, preferably in the human service field. Experience working in the field of community-based long-term care, social services planning and management, aging and/or disability services, and/or human services. Experience managing government and private contracts. Experience conducting competitive bidding processes. Experience in assessing compliance. Provides case management for in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities including assessment of care needs, creating service plans, coordinating care providers; focusing on client independence. Master’s Degree in behavioral or health sciences & 1 yr. paid social service experience or BA in similar fields and 2 yrs. paid social service experience; or BA and 4 yrs. paid social service experience.
