This Stress-Busting Program is a 9 week workshop that teaches you about:

  • The impact of stress on your health and how it relates to caregiving.
  • How to deal with stress through relaxation techniques and problem solving.
  • How to care for yourself while providing better care for your loved one.
  • How to still be you and develop your own interests while taking care of another.

You will be given everything you need including a session handbook and online access to a meditation exercise and relaxation strategies videos.
Caregivers who have completed this program feel significantly lower stress, depression, and anxiety and are able to enjoy a better quality of life. They have also experienced improvement in their ability to relax, manage stress and feel better about themselves. It is free to those who live in Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, and Pacific Counties and take care of someone 60 years old or older (55 if a tribal member).

Workshops start quarterly. Contact Margaret to get on waiting list.

If you need assistance to participate in a meeting due to a disability as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act or Washington Law Against Discrimination, please contact Margaret Taylor at the email address above.
