Volunteer Opportunities

Peer Counseling

Peer counseling involves trained elder volunteers who assist other elders to cope with grief, loss, and issues that accompany aging, e.g., retirement, loss of income, loss of spouse or partner, illness and disability. Volunteers also provide referral to local services, including Senior I&A.

RSVP:

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is recruiting volunteer drivers to transport seniors to medical and health services, social services, meal programs, senior centers, shopping and recreational activities. Volunteer drivers will be reimbursed for their mileage. Some classes and training will apply. A Washington background check is required. Volunteers are needed in Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties.
